In her words..."I was born in Alabama, but have lived in Georgia for the past 25 years before moving to Rock Sound."

"I studied art at California College of Arts and Crafts where I earned my BFA. I also have a BS in education from University of Alabama in B'ham, and a MAed in Art Education from Georgia State University. I have been an art teacher in the Fulton County School System in Georgia for the past 21 years. I have participated in numerous exhibitions in Atlanta and around Georgia, but with teaching and motherhood, I was not really producing much until the past few years."

" My subject is color. I believe that infinite colors, each with their own individual energy and vibration, reveal the beauty of every thing or object in the universe. Recently, the human figure has been an appropriate vehicle for me to express this. Currently, I am exploring this same subject (color) as found in landscapes of Eleuthera and natural objects from the Bahamas."

"The colors are more alive here (sic: in Eleuthera) than anywhere else on earth...".
