The Club Med people are in the business of finding nice spots to put their clubs, so you can imagine how nice the area is. Currently, this Club Med is closed down, but a proposed development, called French Leave Resort is hoping to develop the fantastic location. See their website for details. Feel free to use the beach, which is very uncrowded, and is one of the finest beaches you will see in your lifetime.
