Welcome to The Simple Life! This brand new cottage, just completed in February of 2023, is a two minute walk down a deeded path to spectacular pink-sand Poponi Beach, which is one of the most sought-after beaches on Eleuthera. There is excellent snorkeling right off our beach. Bring your snorkel gear!
A three-minute walk down that beach takes you to La Bougainvillea boutique resort with its excellent beachfront restaurant and bar. Simple Life is located on the prestigious Banks Road, the most desirable location on Eleuthera. A six-minute drive takes you into Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, with stores and restaurants.
The Simple Life Cottage features quartz countertops in this modern kitchen equipped with an apartment size refrigerator, oven/range and microwave. It is fully equipped with a coffee-maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, and cutlery. There is a separate laundry room with a washer/dryer.
The bedroom features a king bed, walk in closet and a full en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The living room also has a pullout sofa. Both bedroom and living room open onto the lovely broad veranda. Glimpses of the ocean are visible from throughout the cottage and veranda.
Amenities include backup water tank, air conditioning throughout, WIFI, washer/dryer, a TV with Netflix, beach umbrella, cooler, and fans in every room.

We had a wonderful time during our stay on Eleuthra. The Simple Life Cottage was very comfortable, well stocked and just steps to Poponi Beach. Misty was very helpful, and when we did contact her, she responded quickly. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with Gary, the owner, who happened to be visiting while we were there. We would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay on the island.

The cottage was very well maintained. The location was just off of Banks Rd which made it accessible to all points of interest. We loved that the cottage was near the beach but very quiet and dark at night for sleeping and viewing the night sky. We highly recommend The Simple Life Cottage!

This is a great place to stay with an amazing beach! We went to lots of different beaches and always ended up back at Simple Life Cottage to go to our beach! It also has a nice road leading to the house, which was very appreciated. This place had pretty much everything we needed and our host was extremely communicative with us for all questions we had! Simple life cottage is literally the perfect place for a couple to stay in Eleuthera it is literally a 2 minute easy walk from one of if not the best beach in the entire Bahamas ! We stayed 21 days and it couldn’t have been more perfect! It’s has all the amenities that one could need .... The owner is extremely responsive and went out of his way to get us a blender . The house manager misty is also extremely responsive and helpful anything we needed she was there for ! The house is clean, brand new , and immaculate I’ve been to Eleuthera 5 times and I give this home a 10/10 and I will be returning !

Our stay was, overall, delightful. The beach is just perfect and it’s only a two-minute walk. The cottage is simple, clean, and new. It’s wonderfully isolated but if you need some civilization, you can take a five-minute walk down the beach to La Bougainville to sit at the bar and each fish tacos. It’s ideally located; 10 minutes from the Island Farm and downtown Governors Harbor.
Misty, the property manager, answered our texts quickly when we had any questions about the cottage or things-to-do.

We loved Simple Life. The cottage was just perfect for us. The property is new and has everything a couple will need for a nice stay. The kitchen is stocked well and had everything we needed to cook meals. The living area is comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked very well. We did not need to do much laundry, but appreciated having the washer and dryer. The cottage received an amazing breeze and we did not need the AC. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has plenty of space. We also appreciated the large closet with plenty of space. The property manager, Misty, was great and always helpful. The walk to the beach is very easy, and being able to walk to La Bougainvillea in just a few minutes is a definite plus! The beach is just beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here. It's on a quiet little road and the construction on the main house did not bother us. Great Experience, thank you!

We stayed at Simple Life for a few days while traveling around the island and it had everything you could ask for. Clean and new and had just the right amount of dishes and cooking supplies needed. Even had a washer and dryer.
Bed super comfortable.
The continuous deck located off of both the living room and bedroom was great for an evening breeze. Wonderful location a 3 minute walk right down to a gorgeous, pink sand beach and right down the beach from La Bouganvillea, which was fantastic.
