Welcome to Oasis, a luxury beachfront estate on the pink sands of Double Bay Beach. You will often have this spectacular beach--wide, well protected by a barrier reef, and three miles long--entirely to yourself. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and spearfishing, right off the property.
After a day on the beach, enjoy a swim in our new 50-foot pool. You will have the luxury of complete privacy on our 2 ½ acre estate.
Inside, Oasis House features sweeping views throughout of the turquoise waters of the Atlantic. Tranquility is realized stepping into the living room, with its wall of big windows facing the sea. This room is furnished with a Rochebobois leather sofa, arm chairs, and a beautiful a Yamaha piano for those who can provide their own personal entertainment. There is also a powder room off the great room.
The dining area, with a solid granite dining table and seating for eight, also enjoys wall of windows looking out at the ocean.
Facing the great room is the fully equipped wet bar with two bar chairs and a generous amount of barware.
The luxurious kitchen, finished in granite and stainless steel, is equipped with kitchen utensils, pots, pans, bakeware, coffee maker, espresso machine, measuring utensils, mixing bowls etc. There is a juicer and a Kitchen Aid as well.
A laundry area with washer and dryer, utility sink, and storage, is directly off the kitchen.
One wing of Oasis House is devoted to the master suite, which is furnished with a king bed (with TempurPedic mattress) and also enjoys a sweeping ocean view. The luxurious en-suite bath is fully tiled throughout and features double sinks, a three-headed shower, and a soaker tub. There is also a separate office off the master with a WIFI-enabled printer for those who may need to do some work. It can also be used as a bedroom for a baby or a small child, if you bring a pack and play.
The other wing of the house, located on the other side of the living areas, has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two full beds. These two bedrooms share a spacious fully tiled bath with double sinks, a walk-in shower, and a generous amount of storage. The king bedroom has an ocean view and direct access to the pool deck and an outdoor shower.
Outside is a 50’ swimming pool for lounging and socializing with family and friends. From there is a gentle walk down a landscaped yard to our spectacular beach.
Amenities at Oasis include WIFI, AC throughout, smart TVs in all bedrooms and the living room (two of which have Roku sticks), ceiling fans, gas grill, sea kayak, beach chairs, books and games, yoga mats, a whole-house back-up generator, and a complete back-up water system.
Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is just 15 minutes by car from the property. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won’t want to miss it. The town of Palmetto Point, less than 10 minutes from the house, has several smaller stores and a good restaurant. There is a good grocery store, Midway Cost Cutters, just five minutes from the house.

First time at Oasis! Best property, best experience on Double Bay. The house is well maintained, meticulous attention to detail. One of the best stocked kitchens we have experienced. Carol, the property manager is definitely the best. She greeted us, gave us a tour of the property and was available when we needed anything. This is definitely where you need to stay when on Double Bay.

Recently my husband and I and our 4 children ages 19/18/14/13 stayed at the Oasis House. This was our 3rd trip to Eleuthera. We enjoy staying in and around Double Bay as it is a nice central location with easy access to the North or South ends of the island. The house and pool were absolutely lovely. The house is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out. The pool was definitely a highlight for all of us but especially the 4 teenagers. Easy access to the beach, beautiful and well kept grounds. Beach chairs were pretty rough but I hear new ones are on the way! We only had a couple issues that would be typical for an island rental but Carol the caretaker is quick to respond. The booking of the property couldn't have been any smoother, Kristin with Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was amazing. She was quick to respond to all questions and went out of her way to help with all details to make the trip a smooth one. We have rented a different house with each trip, we have never had a bad experience, but you can't go wrong with this rental.

We had a wonderful stay at Oasis! This house definitely delivers. It is large and spacious with huge bathrooms. The bedrooms are large and the beds are quite comfortable. The kitchen is so well supplied! I loved having the convenient laundry room. It had everything we needed. The grill was very nice to have also. The pool is large and just perfect with a great patio and plenty of chairs. The grounds are beautiful. I think it was about 100 steps to beach cabana, which we all enjoyed. Many backgammon games played in the cabana. Nice easy beach path and what a beautiful beach. The house was well cleaned and the property manager, Carol, is very attentive! 5 stars all the way around!

It was a lovely home, with all the amenities you would need and close to the beach. One of the rooms did not have A/C which was a bit difficult to sleep in, the door handle needed to be fixed as it came off, as well as the hook in the bathroom, the Wi-Fi was spotty...but overall a great stay. Carol, the caretaker was extremely responsive and helpful.

We are glad you enjoyed Oasis House! We are very sorry about the AC unit. Just to clarify, there is AC throughout the house, every room is air conditioned. The mini-split AC unit in that one bedroom was not working during your stay. We have replaced it with a new unit. We also purchased Google Nest to enhance the WIFI. The WIFI is working very well now.

My family and I spent 8 days in the Oasis House, and the Oasis House and the folks from Eleuthera Vacation Rentals played a huge role in making our vacation incredible!
The house was like having a wonderful friend joining us on our vacation! It made everything better!
Not only is the house immaculately clean, it has all of the details too: comfortable beds, super soft towels (and lots of them), great pots and pans, sharp knives, wonderful air conditioning, powerful internet, smart tv, and a remarkably clean and beautiful pool!!!!
Oh, and the piano!!!! It is magical! Our daughter played it everyday!
This house and the folks from Eleuthera Vacation Rentals make a great team!!!
