Just back from our wonderful two weeks at Pura Vida. The property was in excellent condition and very comfortable. The location on the ocean with pink hued sand was everything a beach lover could want. Walk, swim, or just sipping coffee and watching the sun come up, this property offers it all. Be sure to bring your snorkel, the fish covered reefs are right in front of you. Governors Harbor is 15 minutes. We slept with the windows/ doors open and loved the stiff ocean breeze. We give it a 5 thumbs up and would definitely return!

Pura Vida was the most amazing house rental. It sits along the most beautiful beach on the cherished and loved Banks Road. We were in heaven the moment we turned onto the property and drove up the long private driveway. The house was spotless. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance and utensil you can think of and ready to make our favorite meal. The pool overlooking the ocean was incredible and every seating area had its own personal beauty. Hearing the crashing waves all day was the most memorable and mesmerizing experience. Swimming was such a pleasure even when the waves were crashing. We would bring our coffee down to the bottom step on the beach and drink it there daily. It was incredible. There were also plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella to make a trip to another beach simple and easy. Tippys is a few minutes down the beach road making lunch and dinner easy if you plan to eat out. We were even able to buy some lobster tails to bring home to grill on the beautiful outdoor grill. The master bedroom had an amazing and super comfortable bed with soft linens. The master bath had a large walk in closet and an amazing shower with his and her sinks. It was more than enough room. We were the happiest we have been on vacation and I have been around the globe. George, the caretaker, was available at all times and Brenda, the owner, was quick to answer any questions. We HIGHLY recommend this place and already hope to return next year and many years to come.

Our vacation was truly magic . We stayed for twelve days for our 30th wedding anniversary. Just wanted to chill read books enjoy beach and pool.
Did all the above ,my husband has not read a book in 15 years actually got through 7 . George caretaker was amazing any issue was dealt with immediately. Beach is like a private beach only saw five people over 12 days !! What more could you ask for .

One of the few places that I wish I could stay forever! The house is gorgeous and very well equipped. The pool was pristine and the view was incredible. We were only two but the house would be perfect for a family or 2 couples. The “perch” we called it was amazing to view the sparkling blue green water. And that beach....a little rocky at high tide but so amazing. We walked 2 miles out and back every day and saw sharks and manta rays in thr shallows. There are so many reefs right in front of the house to snorkel and we saw such pretty tropical fish.
Eleuthera is a bit primitive but we like that vibe and plan to get back there asap!

First I will say when I come back to Eleuthera I would definitely like to stay at this home again. It was beautifully maintained and looked like it had only been built a couple years ago. The main living area with the kitchen and great room is amazing looking out to the ocean. If you go when in the low 80s you can keep the doors open with the screens closed and have the Sea Air flow through the house all day and night. I really can't say enough about how beautiful the home was and how nice everything was maintained. If you've never been to Eleuthera understand you will need to go to the local market to shop for your groceries. The main store is around 15-20 minutes away. We made meals at home and also went out to a couple of the restaurants. I could write a long review about the experience and how we did things but to keep it simple you will not be disappointed staying at this home. I should also mention the master bed was very comfortable and is off the screened-in patio. We kept the doors open all night to have the breeze come through the house. Looking forward to coming to Eleuthera again and staying here.

Pura Vida was an absolute joy. The house is spacious and inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked and very clean. The beach was almost deserted. We loved the two islands in the ocean in front of the house. We had a small problem with the AC in the bedrooms, but we understand that we are on an island with limits. This home and property are beautiful! The home is positioned so that you get amazing views of Double Bay while enjoying privacy. We loved the outdoor area, which is where we spent most of our time while at the house. There are so many different areas in the home to sit and relax, the master bedroom and bath was spacious and comfortable! I don't have a single thing I would change.
