This place was very nice. The view was amazing. I loved my morning walks on the beach. It is very rocky in the water so bring water shoes. We found a spot about a minute or two walk that did have any rocks. The beach was very private. We only saw the neighbor a few times. You definitely need to rent a car we highly recommend WT . As far as the cottage goes The only issues we had was the water heater. At first it wouldn’t come in and they sent a repair man out he got it to work but we couldn’t regulate the temperature. So you t would either be freezing water or scolding hot water. That was frustrating. Hopefully they get it replaced. We new it needed updates when we selected it by the other reviews but we wanted the privacy and the beach accessibility. Some little thing that would make a difference. There’s cook ware but they are really old and the nonstick surfaces are gone, and there are only 2 spoons . We didn’t use the kayak or snorkeling gear. There’s beach chairs but several of them are broken. But we used the 2 that weren’t.

  We try to provide our guests a safe and comfortable experience, so as soon as we were notified about the hot water tank, a licensed technician was sent out to inspect and fix the problem. A new water heater has now been installed at the cottage as well as some new beach chairs. New kitchenware has been ordered. Our 6 days and nights in the Pink Sand Cottage was one of our favorite vacation get-aways to date. We truly fell of the grid (in a good way), and came home rested and refreshed. There were a few inconveniences but nothing major. The water is not potable so you will need to buy drinking water, and there is no generator which would have been helpful as the power went out quite frequently. But having said that, we would definitely return. There were miles of empty beaches, and beautiful weather every day. The property manager was very available and responsive for our questions, and the location was fabulous - very close to restaurants and groceries.

This sweet cozy cottage is tucked away among palm trees and mature plantings with a couple of decks to lounge out on and enjoy the beautiful ocean views and star gazing at night. The cottage had everything we needed for our 9 day stay and was conveniently located near Govenor's Harbor, groceries, restaurants, etc. The property manager was very friendly and attentive.

You simply cannot stay in a more perfect location. Coffee out on the porch each morning while gazing out to the ocean was downright dreamy. Tennielle, the property manager, was not only pleasant, but very responsive to any question or need. The beach goes on forever and you may see one or two people on any given day. The property management company is actively placing wonderful updates to this cottage. They are doing a great job!

Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was amazing to work with! They we're in communication with me from the day we booked to the day we left. Very responsive and very helpful. We would definitely book with them again!

As for the rental...

Pros: The location. It cannot be beat. The views are incredible and there is no one on the beach. We were the only ones down there for our entire stay. This cottage is a great deal for the price! It's a drive, but well worth it.

Cons: The cottage could use a little TLC. There was only one snorkel mask we found on the porch outside and it seemed pretty old and worn. The beach chairs were ripped and broken. The cottage itself could use some love inside and out. But again, for the price, we couldn't complain! The beach was great, but we did have to walk a little ways to get in the water because of the many rocks near our cottage, but since we were the only ones out there, we didn't mind.

Overall, we had an incredible stay and will definitely book with this company in the future!

The cottage is wonderful. It's rustic, but has everything you need from a fast internet to washer/dryer, microwave, etc. The beach is beautiful. If "you're fond of sand dunes and salty air" this is the place to be. The Eleuthera Island has so much to experience. It will fill all of your days.

My wife and me stayed 10 nights at the Pink Sand Cottage. The Cottage is at a perfect sand beach with some rocks in the water. We calmed down there and relaxed by watching clouds, stars, waves, the fulll moon and now and then birds. It was great. The kitchen equipment of the Cottage is a little bit basic but sufficient. We had a tropical storm warning and the team of the rental service offered us another acomodation somewhere safer for two nights at no cost. They helped us a lot. We came back after one night because we missed the charm of the cottage. There were some downs: a lot of power shut downs, one for 12 hours, one for 10 hours and a lot of shorter ones. The other problem were the insects. Some days none but depending on the wind a lot of stinging with no chance to avoid the trouble. But, all in all, it is a nice Cottage at a perfect beach in the middle of nowhere. We stayed in pre-season and had several days when we didn‘t see a single person. We liked that. One last advice: the track to the cottage is hard to drive. Don‘t rent a car with a low chassis.

Absolute amazing location! We loved this little house nestled in a jungle of palm trees. We only saw a handful of people on this beach the 5 days we stayed here. Very secluded and incredibly beautiful! The only thing we would rate not 5 star would be the condition of the house. There is a lot of maintenance that could be done. However, we still thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was too windy for us to snorkel here on our beach, but we did kayak and could see all the amazing rock formations beneath us. Looks like snorkeling would've been a good experience here.

We have stayed in Eleuthera many times and absolutely loved where this place was located. It’s heaven on earth. Although I have the place five stars all around take note that there are noseeums. Be prepared. There should be screen door or netting over the bed / it’s a real issue. We didn’t mind the dated aspects of the place as we are there for the beach! However the mattress can also make or break the stay - I don’t have back issues but I did the week staying there. Pillows and mattress are so old. Otherwise this is five stars!
