Welcome to Palisades. This spectacular home sits directly on Unicorn Cay Beach, a mile-long stretch of pink sand on the prestigious Banks Road of Governors Harbour, the prime location on Eleuthera. Famous Tippy’s restaurant is a 5-minute walk down the beach. The town of Governors Harbour, with restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and banks, is less than 5 minutes away by car. Unicorn Cay is usually deserted, so don’t be surprised if you have this mile of pink sand entirely to yourself.
Palisades’ grand bay windows provide a 50-mile, 180-degree view of the turquoise ocean and pink sands below. These hurricane proof glass windows are engineered to withstand up to 200 mph of direct wind. The glass has a special tint to help keep the house cool. Right outside of these windows, you will find yourself standing on a cascading deck that spans three levels and 60 feet onto the sands of Unicorn Cay Beach.
This luxury home features all natural stone throughout, including marble, travertine, granite, and river rocks. With 3200 square feet of interior living area, Palisades offers plenty of space for large groups to spread out, including game rooms with pool and foosball.
Enjoy our spectacular new oceanfront infinity pool with stunning ocean views. The pool can be heated at your option for $500/week.

The Great Room
Enjoy the expansive, modern Great Room luxuriously decorated in a contemporary style. The room features 26 feet of cathedral ceiling with windows that showcase the Bahamian waters and clear skies. Sit back and watch your favorite movies in high definition Blu-Ray and DVD.
The Dining Room
The dining room consists of a beautiful hand-carved dining table seating eight.
Nearby, bay windows with comfortable seats allow a breathtaking view of the pink sand beaches.
The Kitchen
This spacious kitchen includes a huge island, exotic granite countertops, and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee from our coffee maker.
The Master Bedroom
This bedroom has a king and en-suite master bath. Walk into the tropical bedroom and glance over at the breathtaking beach view right beside you. Walk out to the balcony and enjoy the morning sun and feel the breeze.
The Master Bathroom
This classic bathroom includes a toilet, 2 sinks and a quality glass shower. A spacious closet is provided to store your belongings.
Guest Bedroom 1
Step into a gorgeous little room for two and relax. The bedroom includes a queen sized bed, next to an oversized full bathroom, and a balcony.
The Kids Bedroom
This colorful room is especially designed for kids of all ages to enjoy a fun place to hang out after hours in the sun. The room includes 2 sets of bunk beds and a pull-out bed to sleep at least 5 guests, (a large full bathroom is shared with Guest Bedroom 1).
Powder Room
A half bath is located between the kitchen and the main living room.

This room is located on the second floor of the house including a balcony with a stunning view. It includes a queen bed and a bathroom right next door.
The Family Room
The family room offers comfort and entertainment to visitors with its contemporary theme and style. Play a game of foosball or enjoy a movie on the flat screen.
The Billiard Room
Sit down and relax at the Billiard Room or enjoy a fun game of pool after a long day at the beach.
The Loft
Palisades also has a loft that can sleep 4 more guests on our available inflatable mattresses. The area is furnished with a living room set and a flat screen satellite TV.
Amenities include AC throughout, Starlink super-fast internet, back-up generator, filtered water, 2 flat screen TVs with cable TV, pool table, foosball, ping pong, washer/dryer, 3 kayaks, many beach chairs and towels, and 2 extra inflatable beds.
Rates are for the first 7 guests. For each additional guest add $75/night.

Had a wonderful time here at this place. I had stayed on the Bayside before and now realize how wonderful the Atlantic side is. There are reefs located right in front of the house. We snorkeled them seen many different types of fish. Tippies is right down the street from the house. House was very large and have everything we needed for our party of eight.

We had a great 10 days in Eleuthera. Palasaides home is in a great location to explore both ends of the beautiful island. The beach in front of the home is stunning, the water is extremely clear with snorkeling only steps away, and lots of rock formations within walking distance to explore. We loved that we could walk to Tippys in only 5 minutes - and we took advantage of that regularly - or drive to other amazing restaurants in less than 20 min. The house was spacious and the view from both house, deck and pool can't be beat. The only downsides are that the stairs leading down to the beach are not in the best condition. If you have mobility issues or young children, the stairs are dangerous. My husband and I were with our family of 3 children (ages 6, 9, 11) and they were fine, but I was happy my 1 and 3 y.o. nephews didn't stay with us - it would have been too stressful worrying about them or carrying them up and down. One step broke while my 6 y.o. was walking on it - had it been an adult, we may have fallen through instead of it "gently" cracking in half. The pool heater wasn't working while we were there so we only used it twice since temps were in the 70s, but if you're visiting in warmer months, it's perfectly located, sized and refreshing after a busy day of exploring or beach time. This is a gorgeous area of the island and we would stay in this area again. If the stairs and deck are repaired, we would definitely stay in this home again - other houses nearby seemed to have more recently built or repaired steps/decks. These seems to be very weathered and in need of replacement in some areas. Also to note, the beds are very firm! The caretaker was very helpful and communication with him, the owners and rental co. was great.

Although there were some glitches (pool could not be heated, dishwasher did not work, ice maker in the fridge did not work, igniter for the grill did not work), the place was clean and had all the amenities. The location is unbeatable, and the owner and property caretaker (Sherman) were very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. (We were refunded for the pool heating expenses without any issue at all.) Highly recommend this place. The billiard room was a hit with all of us - especially our five grandchildren.

I really don't know where to start. This place is magical, the house, the water, just the whole experience. The house is beautiful, just a short walk to a local restaurant/bar, Tippy's. You walk down the stairs to a beautiful beach, that you will probably have all to yourself. When you get tired of the beach, you head up to the pool with the most spectacular views. I will give you one bit of advice, don't get in a hurry about anything, you are on Island time. This place is so laid back and relaxing, you just have to go with the flow. The boats bring supplies on Tue and Thur, so don't be surprised if they are out of something on Monday. If you're looking for a beautiful house in a relaxing atmosphere, then you can't go wrong with the Palisades.

Wowza, this is a beautiful property along with the best beach to spend some time in a total paradise! This was our 1st visit to Eleuthera and we could not have found a more stunning home. The property exceeded all of our expectations. Upon arrival it was a nice surprise to find champagne, fresh flowers and home grown tomatoes (grown by Sherman the property manager). This home has the most breathtaking views from the 2 master bedrooms and the entire living space. The decks and heated infinity pool were awe-inspiring to spend some relaxing days and evenings at. We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children, and we had more space than we needed to be comfortable for 8 days of fun in the sun. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook with. The home was spotless! We had a rental car and found this property to be centrally located for grocery shopping, quaint restaurants and fun little beach bars. The beach has the softest pink sand we have ever seen and walked on with the most incredible clear blue water. We have visited many of the Caribbean islands and this is our new favorite. We are already planning for our next visit in this same property next winter. We have already recommended this vacay and property to all our friends and family. Thank You Don, for sharing your astonishing home with us. Don was amazing to work with in planning our visit to the island. Sherman, the property caretaker, took great care of us, checking in daily to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. On our last day, Sherman brought us homemade cookies and wanted to say goodbye to us and the kids. We had an extraordinary family trip with lots of new priceless memories.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palisades house. The view from the house was breathtaking and the pink sand beach was unbeatable. The water was the most amazing color. We loved kayaking, snorkeling and jumping waves. The pool is beautiful. The deck will need replaced at some point but I can understand why they haven’t done it yet. There is so much deck space! We had a few issues while we were there but Sherman took care of them right away. He even brought us cookies that his wife made. We were a little disappointed that the dishwasher was broken but hopefully they will have that fixed soon. We loved walking the beach in the morning and going to Tippys for dinner. This place has some wear and tear but we still loved it. The kids loved playing pool and foosball. Overall we had the best vacation and the view and location trumped everything else!

Just returned from a wonderful 8 day stay at the beautiful Palisades Beach House. This home is truly a gem and is well equipped with everything you possibly need. Sherman, the property manager was Johnny on the spot with any questions and all of our needs. He arrived with flowers, champagne and home baked cookies! He even offered to take one of our couples to the airport when a taxi wasn't available. Eleuthera Vacation Rentals and the homeowners are quick to respond to any questions you may have. I highly recommend this home, the location is central to many of the finest restaurants on the island and you can even walk to Tippy's! We'll be back!

Palisades House fit 8 of us comfortably. The good stuff! There were more amenities and a accessories then were mentioned in the listing. Extra beach bags, snorkel gear, boogie boards, sand toys. Located right on the beach. The water is so clear and warm, even for December. The pool is beautiful but a bit cold so we mostly sat around it or dipped our feet in. The house is on the Atlantic side so some waves are nice to play in. Good snorkelling. Restaurants are great. Tippy's was enjoyed by all. Very safe island all round. All items were delivered and issues were attended to right away.
The only bump we had was the dryer did not work so no clean clothes for a week with many teenagers was a bit tough, hang drying doesn't work so well with salty air and the humidity level but hopefully that get fixed soon.
Overall I would highly recommend staying here, it's an excellent place to relax with a picture perfect view for a week (or longer).

The house is nice. The pool is incredible. The property maintenance is probably above average for the island. The deck need some TLC but it didn't bother us. Property manager was available when we needed him but did not hover, which was nice. Great location! It is on Banks road and a quick walk to Tippy's. Fantastic beach!

Wonderful island with wonderful people. They are the reason we continue to return. Property manager Sherman was a delight to deal with, answering our questions and reacting to our very minor issues with a smile. Great rental overall, some wear/tear like all oceanfront properties, there is deckwork in it's future. Other than that, no complaints.
