Sand Dollar Cottage is situated on a Caribbean-side waterfront lot with beautiful sunset views. Located within the Four Points Marina Village Development, this new cottage has 1,100 square feet of indoor living space and 1,200 square feet of wrap-around decks. Sand Dollar Cottage has 2 king bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Sand Dollar has a single rollaway bed for additional guests. There is also a powder room off the living room. The spacious living room has seating for 8 and a flat-screen TV. The modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances.
Amenities include WIFI, cable TV, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor gas grill.
The Marina Village development features Frigate's Bar and Grill on site. Wild Orchid Waterfront Restaurant is located a short 2 minute walk away and Sand Dollar is conveniently located within walking distance to the main shopping plaza with a fully stocked supermarket, liquor store and an international commercial bank. Your boat can anchor just off Four Points Frigate's Bar where there is a dinghy dock.
Because so many guests are working remotely these days, we recently increased the speed of the service at Sand Dollar to 105mb/s!
Please note that while you CAN swim and snorkel behind the house, the water there is a bay, not a beach.

Our visit to Eleuthera was 2/3/24-2/17/24. Everything about the Sand Dollar Cottage was amazing! VERY clean! Well equipped with more than what you need. Close to the market, which is so nice! We enjoyed being able to spend some days down at the waterfront using Frigate's restaurant as our place for lunch and drinks throughout the day. The location is on the southern end of the island, so keep that in mind. We didn't really have a sense for the location before our visit. Rock Sound is a wonderful area with many things to see and do. Chandra and Thomas were wonderful in their responses to any questions we had or needs for the cottage. I highly recommend Sand Dollar Cottage and hope to visit again in the future!

We wanted a clean, nicely appointed house for a few days in Rock Sound. The property was exactly as described, but much bigger than I expected. The house had everything we needed - every utensil, blankets, soaps and towels. It even had scuba equipment! It was spotless too. It is next to the Frigate restaurant/bar so got a bit rowdy in the evenings, but never past 10pm. The Frigate did have really good food! I would stay here again.

I taught school in Eleuthera 27 years ago and returned over Thanksgiving. Although much has changed, I found the people to be just as kind and genuine-always ready to help when needed. As we all have heard, life in the island is more laid back, less hectic than the life most Americans experience. When we come to Eleuthera, we need to remember to be patient and know your car, your food, your groceries will all “soon come”- and truly you will realize how lovely Bahamian people are in the out islands.
Our car rental from the Pinder’s was delivered to us, our snorkeling time was done with Captain Jolly, and our wonderful rental was at the Sand Dollar in Rock Sound. Ms Melanie could not have provided us with anything more. Not only was the rental exactly as pictured, but we chose groceries that were delivered at no charge before our arrival, there was coffee, sunscreen, bug spray(which we didn’t need), and all the items you would expect in any hotel. I cannot recommend the Sand Dollar enough as it was wonderful. We ate at several different restaurants and all of it was truly top notch.
We genuinely could not have asked for more during our stay- our return trip to Eleuthera was truly worth the wait.

This was part of a 13 day trip to the Bahamas. We spent our first 4 nights in a eco hut along the cliffs outside Gregory Town and moved on for 4 more nights to Rock Sound before hitting Spanish Wells. We couldn't have been happier bouncing around the way we did and with all the chosen accommodations. As you can see, the home is spacious, comfy, great views, and well equipped (you need to get a pot holder :)
The grocery which is near is a HUGE plus. We ate in most meals and explored during the day. I almost hate to say it was fabulous because we want to keep this wonderful spot to ourselves! The kitchen was well stocked, the best market on the island is a block away too! Sunsets were magnificent!! The only thing that would make our stay even better is two hammocks under the beautiful flowers on the deck for a nap! Thomas and Chandra are such gracious hosts! Beaches were close and we explored a different one every day! GET an SUV as the roads to the beaches call for it. This is NOT a spot for those who need nightlife but if a beach, a drink and a sunset make you happy it’s your perfect spot.

Our family of four had a wonderful time staying at Sand Dollar Cottage. We’ve rented all over through VRBO and this was one of the best. Everything we needed to enjoy our trip was there. Full kitchen with everything, grill, enough towels, beach chairs, snorkel stuff, etc.... Just a fully stocked well thought out rental. Chandra and the whole team couldn’t have been easier to work with. Chandra even helped us track down our daughter’s phone when she forgot it in the Nassau airport. We loved the quiet end of the island and would come here again. The Frigate restaurant next door was very good as well and though the cottage is very close to it, it was not a bother at all.

Our rental space was wonderful. Loved that both rooms had king sized beds and en suite w/ the bathroom. The power did got out once, which occurs once in a while on the island, but the property management brought us over a battery to charge phones and a portable wifi to help us stay connected. We had all the necessities in the kitchen for making at home meals. The snorkel and beach chairs were perfect for us to go explore the beautiful beaches. Also, nice to have Frigates restaurant on site and the nice market near by. There are few good markets on the island so this was really helpful!

Sand Dollar Cottage is located very conveniently near RS airport and there is also a local grocery store just down the street within walking distance. The house is lovely and very comfortable. The location is unique in that it is right by the restaurant and we enjoyed this convenience ultimately. The house was as advertised and very clean when we arrived. It was easy to care for and there was plenty of room for our family of four (two kids). Sand Dollar Cottage is a great way to live locally and offers a great location to drive anywhere on the island in a reasonable amount of time.

We stayed in the Sand Dollar Cottage for a week, and it was perfect. The location was great, the porch is perfect for sitting out, the beds are comfy. I am already planning a return trip. It's location in Rock Sound is ideal for exploring both the south end of Eleuthera and going back up North. Frigates Bar and Grill is right next door, and the food, drinks and staff are all great. Highly recommend staying here!

That was a house of my dream. When I get rich - I definitely will buy/build the same ). In cottage you have everything you need, from barbecue to snorkeling. So - take minimum stuff to your vacation, because you will have all in the apartments already.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sand Dollar Cottage! The home was comfortable, the accommodations perfect for our family, and the people of Eleuthera were so, so charming. The property management people were delightful, helpful, and cared very much for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked (and I especially appreciated the drawer of leftover seasonings that were shared from previous visitors.) The bathrooms were roomy, as were the bedrooms. We never felt cramped, or lacking in anything. The full-sized washer and dryer were very much appreciated, as was the outside shower allowing us to rinse off after swimming and diving activities.
We had a rental car emergency (ok...I confess--I lost the keys in the ocean) and needed help with transportation back to the cottage, plus access to an extra house key. When I called the cottage owners, they dropped everything they were doing to ensure to pick up and take us home. The next day, they checked on us to make sure we were getting our problem taken care of. Eleuthera is an island of angels!
