We arrived a bit early but the team at Seven palms was accommodating and made us comfortable until we could check in. The team at there was helpful throughout our stay. The property is in great shape and the cottages with are really helpful with large parties (we had 15 people).
Everyone was very nice to us and we would stay again.

The home is beautiful, but was a little run down and has a lot of little things that needed repair - i.e., torn screens, curtain rod falling out, plugged drain, no a/c in one room, etc. Maybe that is just what to expect from this area? The staff at LaBougainvillea was extremely helpful but couldn't fix it all. The description says there is a laundry room - which we needed with so many children - but there is not. The villa staff was able to do our laundry which really helped. Very helpful to have water jugs available. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs. If we had to choose a property again, we would probably pick something that wasn't quite so remote. The roads were pretty bad.

We apologize for these little items that needed repair. We are going through the house carefully, now that the holidays are past, and are addressing all these issues. Please note that the ad says there is a laundry room (which is in the basement) and that staff will do your laundry for you at no charge. Eleuthera is of course a fairly remote island, but this property is not remote, being 100 yards from an excellent restaurant and bar and an 8 minute drive from the main town, Governors Harbour, which has restaurants, stores, and some night life.
