NEW LISTING! Welcome to Cupid's Way, a brand new high-end waterfront home with a large private swimming pool and 200 linear feet of Caribbean frontage. All high-end finishes including granite, natural cypress, beautiful European tile throughout, and a view of Cupid's Cay. Great snorkeling right at the waterfront, and two outdoor showers.
Every bedroom in Cupid's Way has a full en-suite bath and an ocean view. Cupid's way also has a private office for those who like to sneak away and get some work done between their island adventures.
Cupid's Way has two bedrooms with king beds and one bedroom with twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request. It also has a upper floor atrium area, which is not private but has plenty of space, containing two trundle beds. So the house can sleep up to 8 in beds.
Home has city water with backup reserve tank for when the water plant cuts off water (happens often). Also a generator for power outages which is another frequent occurrence on the island.
You will be hard pressed to find a better located home with so many amenities on the island. The Friday night Fish fry, 1648 restaurant and French Leave marina, Sky Beach club, all top restaurants, and some of the islands best beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island just minutes away. Home is located on a private cul de sac on "Lover's Hill" a peaceful authentic Bahamian neighborhood. Waterfront has beautiful coral reefs for snorkeling (2 snorkeling sets are provided) and great fishing.

This was my third trip to Eleuthera and my partners fifth and as always it did not disappoint. We usually stay in Rainbow Bay but we both agreed that this central location was ideal due to cutting off time for the numerous day trips we take to the southern part of the island.
The property was incredible with views of Governor's Harbor in the distance. We didn't jump in the water off the rocks as much as we thought we would but it was nice to be on the water and have the option. (Don't make the mistake we did and not use the metal ladder hanging on the rock the first time jumping in). The pool was a big plus to cool off in as well as it got very hot during the day with the sun beaming directly onto the back porch and pool area.
We took the kayaks to Holmes Bay one day and they were a little tippy feeling but we felt comfortable using them without life jackets. (We didn't see any lifejackets at the house, just a heads up if you want to use them. We're both 6 feet +/- a few inches and around 210 lbs).
While we only really used the main level of the house, the entire house is beautiful, king bed in the downstairs bedroom was comfortable and AC worked well when we turned it down in the evenings. We do a lot of our own cooking while on the island and they had an ample amount of cookware and dishes but we’d recommend bringing Tupperware for leftovers/lunches for day trips (we brought a few but would have brought more).
They have a cabinet near the laundry with a first aid kit, H2O2, rubbing alcohol, extension cords, fly swatters as well as a medium and large sized cooler. The only complaint that we had was that for the price for 2 people to stay it could have been a little bit cleaner. Definitely not a deal breaker for us and we would stay again!
